Kristin Holmes helped me put together my Maui beach house. I bought all furniture off the floor at her furniture store. I absolutely love my little place and would recommend her and the store to anyone. She and her staff took the time to make sure I was happy and satisfied with all the purchases. It was also nice that I did not have to order furniture and pay freight. She came over and hung all the art and placed all the accessories exactly where they needed to be and even bought coordinating bedding and stuff for the bathroom.
Finally, the best recommendation I can give is when friends and family visit us, the first words we usually hear are, "Your home is absolutely beautiful." We think so, too.
Swan Interiors has a wonderful selection of very tasteful furniture. Walking into the showroom is like walking into someone's home...someone with very good taste! Kristin and her staff have put together fabrics in colors which work well together and reflect the Maui lifestyle without being "over the top tropical". Lots of choices for stylish, comfortable, practical, well-priced furnishings for the home. Kristin suggested that we visit her studio in Kihei so we could pick from her thousands of swatches to get exactly what we wanted. Swan Interiors is a real "find" and we intend to make it our place to shop for additional furnishings for our condo.
The store is out of the way for us (we're in Makena) and a bit on the small side but its a testimony to quality vs quantity and well worth the trip for art, accessories, rugs, furniture and to consult with the designers. We went back last week to inquire about a tall wall-leanining mirror to add to the bedroom. Amanda sourced something that we love and are now just awaiting its long trip from the mainland.
The outcome of this project was excellent, but getting it completed was truly an enjoyable journey. Kristin and her staff took care of everything. Her meticulous attention to detail is evident in every aspect of this project. She also worked within our budget and always took into consideration our ideas. It is important and refreshing to add that Kristin and her staff are highly trained, very professional, and their follow-through was excellent.
We had already found the new master bedroom furniture we wanted online and went to Swan to order it. It was the start of what I'm sure will be a long relationship.

My wife and I do not usually take the time to write reviews regarding products and services, but this is a review that is a pleasure to write. Our former home in California was decorated in a very traditional, French-country style, but Kristin Holmes and her staff of Swan Interiors gave our new Maui home a completely new style and color palette that we simply had not considered, yet one we love every day. When our home was completed, she had transformed each room into a tasteful, elegant, island style with a comfortable feeling tone. The colors, furniture, window treatments, etc., work very well together, creating a home that flows from room to room. Also, Kristin's designs are unique to each project.
Amanda was helpful and charming and put together a great presentation adding accessories and lamps. Wanting to see how things came together before accessorizing, we went with just the lamps. Amanda kept in touch regarding the progress of the order and it was all beautiful when it was delivered. The delivery crew was great and it was a nice touch having Kristin (the owner) come with.
