Crappy macaroons
I can honestly say that this is one of roughly three reviews I've ever left for anything, and I felt compelled to do so once I read the negative review written prior to this. I have been a loyal consumer of this business for years, and to suggest that these cookies are anything less than amazing is not only inaccurate, but potentially detrimental to a small company trying very hard to succeed--which apparently some people couldn't care less about if their cookies left them empty and longing for more out of life. If you are in search of a dessert that truly represents Hawaii, you can't go wrong with any of the options, but the pineapple macaroon in particular will change the way you view all lesser cookies. I hope that this will help new customers overlook the complaining "reviewer" who spoke badly, because I assure you it will be your loss if you don't!
