Top notch rental car service in Maui! I used a rental car from this company for several weeks during my five week stay in Maui. Very reliable, and very affordable. Would recommend.
Worst customer service ever! The guy at the phone is super rude, just for that reason you lost me as a customer
FYI, he said the owner of the company is a higher up in MPD. I asked for the name. He got mad and said "why I want to know the name?"
Do not trust the man, ALBERTO or this company. I rented a Toyota Corolla from here on Friday the 18. He made a mistake, or maybe intentionally, who knows, of dates on contract. He called my wife on Tuesday and started harassing her. Than on Wednesday he texted her, and not nice. I called him that evening. He settled to have me return car on Friday 12 pm. Thursday, I felt weird. Decided to do a run down on the car and noticed SAFETY and REGISTRATION were EXPIRED. Called Alberto, to let him know I am not wanting to drive the car anymore and he can come get it at KMart, since I was shopping there. He got mad to why I was there. Told him 3 times I was shopping. A persone is allowed to go shopping at wherever they choorse, right? He told me to park the car in the corner, put key under the floor mat and not lock the driver door. Told him to text me those same instructions and than I would do it. He got mad, I got mad, told him is for my safety. All I need is to do that, he comes to get the car and says someone stole it. He calls me back and says he be there in 15 minutes to get the key.
Get into argument, he asking about the extra 3 days. Told him to look at the other paper that I signed, the very one when I asked him what the date was. MY wife told him to look at it on Tuesday and Wednesday, when he called her. I told him to look when I called that Wednesday evening. He went to go look, saw the paper and date and did the same thing throw his arm up shrug his shoulders and say "You are right, my friend, I am sorry." So I ask him about the extra day since car is being returned early. He says I am the one returning early, "YEAH, BECAUSE THE CAR IS ILLEGAL, I DON'T HAVE MONEY NOR WANT TO GET A TICKET OR TICKETS FOR A CAR THAT IS NOT MINE. Tickets would probably be for EXPIRED SAFETY CHECK AND REGISTRATION AND A BUSTED PARKING LIGHT. But, ALBERTO could care less.
Avoind renting anything from this guy or doing any type of business with him. He will probably rip you off too.
Went outside to give him key, he looks at the back of the car and throws his arms up, tilts his to one side and shrugs his shoulders, like oh yeah, they are expired.
Avoid at all costs. The first warning sign was that the owner/salesman/deliveryman wouldn't meet me at his office and insisted on meeting at a parking lot near the airport. I'm kicking myself for even attempting to do business with this person after he wanted to meet there but I grew up on the island and am all for supporting local mom and pop businesses. After brief introductions I noticed the registration on the car was expired. When I asked him about it, he said not to worry about it and that I should just have the cops call him if we got pulled over... That seemed rather sketchy so I asked him if I could check the AC and fluid levels of the car before we signed off. That is when he freaked out and ranted about how for the price of the car, this is what we should expect to get. He told me he didn't like my attitude and that he wouldn't rent us the car. He moved to slam the car door and drive away. I had to physically hold open the door and retrieve the copies of the credit card information he had written down. This was by far the worst experience I've had in business dealings ever.
So he says he will get back to me 1 or 2 days. This happened yesterday.
