Yogi failed to perform the work that he said that he would do.
Yogi is awesome! I have a 06 Toyota Rav 4 which was not shifting correctly. It was originally recommended to me that I take my car to the Toyota dealer which I did. After about $500 in diagnostic and a transmission flush which I now know was not needed, the Toyota dealer said it would be about another 6k to replace and install a new transmission-of which they recommended. From there I took my car to Yogis.
Although it took him a few days to start working on my car (because he is very busy), once Yogi got on it, it got done fast and it got done right. Unlike Toyota where they get a basic diagnosis and then try replacing parts and recommend un-needed work/repairs (kind of like if you have an engine problem they will most likely recommend an oil change and engine flush and when that does not work they will recommend more), Yogi actually used the diagnostic to help guide him to the problem step by step. He pulled the transmission pan, checked the color and smell of the transmission fluids (both of which Toyota did not do) and worked the problem down to the transmission solenoid (whatever that is). He did extensive tests/test drives with a replacement solenoid before determining that it was in the issue and ordering a new one to install...not an entirely new transmission from Toyota! Our car runs great and we spent about 10% of what we would have spent at Toyota! Thank you Yogi!
