Very knowledgeable company and they were very prompt and performed the job in a professional manner. Showed up every time they were suppose to and anyone living in Maui knows that can be a problem with many contractors. I have been saving about $800-$1000.00 a month since starting up the system in March 2014. I would definitely use this company again and I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

The people at Hawaii Energy Smart walked us from square one to completion of installations on our home and a rental this past summer. Everyone we came into contact with was professional and courteous. The manager, sales rep, installers, and electricians all knew their jobs and communicated effectively what we needed to know.
Hawaii Energy Smart provided fantastic service for our solar air conditioner. Ran into Joe Rydzewski at Hawaii Energy Smart's booth during the Maui County Fair and asked if they could help with our solar air system that had stopped working. Our solar air system wasn't supplied or installed by Hawaii Energy Smart, but Joe took my name and said he'd look into it. Since the system was provided by someone else, I wasn't expecting much to come from the discussion. Joe called the next day and had dug into the problem. He stopped by personally to check out the unit and had a tech come take a look within a couple days. They got the unit up and running again after one visit. I was extremely impressed by the effort put forth and speedy service they provided. Even on a system they didn't originally provide. I would highly recommend Hawaii Energy Smart for anyone interested in solar air.
