I have never had issues with Maui Medical Group! They have always been very nice, and accommodating! I have been impressed by their customer service, as well as how quickly they can get me in!
Where do I begin? AVOID THIS PLACE. GO RIGHT TO HONOLULU IF YOU CAN. I can't even be nice anymore. I HAVE to be honest. They act like they care for the patient and are nice but then drop the ball on so many occasions is incredible. This is HEALTH...THERE IS NO ROOM for the amount of mistakes this place makes. The care of the patient is NOT what is most important. Incredible that this place isn't investigated for competence along with Maui Memorial Hospital. Maui has an urgent issue with healthcare and I do hope it is addressed soon. People should NOT have to suffer on this island because of these two places.
Closed an hour early on Saturday and ignored me in a snobby way when I was sick for four days strait and finally had the energy to make it to the doctors . They said “go to Minit medical, or figure it out yourself”. I could t believe it those two ladies should be fired . Definitely switching my plan to kaiser . They include holistic practices, massage, acupuncture, all in their insurance plans and they reimburse you for 24 hour fitness membership. No comparison . Maui medical won’t last ten years longer . Their corruption will kill them
I had a medical problem in Maui while on vacation. Maui Medical Group made an appointment to see me that afternoon. I arrived at 2:45 PM for a 3 pm appointment and quickly registered and filled out standard paperwork at the front desk. I was seen by PA Claire Loomis within minutes of my scheduled appointment time. She did a thorough examination and answered all my questions. I was sent to the lab for blood work and an X-Ray. Afterwards, I picked up prescriptions and was out of the clinic in under two hours. Claire called me 30 minutes later with the results of my lab work. The clinic followed up with three phone calls to check on me over the next seven days and they were great in forwarding all my lab results to my family physician. They far exceeded my expectations!
I went to Maui Medical group last Wednesday for a mammogram. They popped my breast implant and it leaked completely out within 48 hours from the procedure. I have had mammograms in the past with no problem what so ever.. This mammogram was very different because the x ray tech insisted on separating my implant from my breast tissue. She manipulated my implant away from my right breast literally like 3 times before taking the picture. Now, I am no X ray professional but I do know an x ray machine can see through my SALINE IMPLANT. Upon informing MMG about my situation they told me sorry you had the hole in the implant before coming to us. So I am on my own finding a way back to how I originally came in to MMG. Not only that but the waiver they make you sign they tell you its a permission form to look at my previous mammograms. In actuality it is a waiver releasing them from any liability in this situation. Further more how stupid are they trying to make a person believe I had a pre-existing hole that never leaked until their intrusive tech touched me. Last I want to add she looked about 19 years old and I wish I followed my gut and left immediately. DECEPTION all the way around...
