Just had the worst incedent ever bus came to napili market and I was waiting the bus stopped I got up and about 12 seconds later it started to take off and I was running it down and he still didn't stop he all most hit me with the bus I backed off and when he came back he said I was never there and I was standing in front of the bus feel so bad that maui county transportation has people of this level driving these busses and it pains me to see this happened
I've been riding the bus here for 7 years and I have seen an improvement in the system for sure since I first go here. However, the bus drivers save for a few good ones are just plain mean. They infect everyone with their anger and discontent making it a solemn journey to any destination. These guys make riding public transportation an insufferable affair. They demean and belittle you for the smallest offense or even a simple question. I am absolutely sick of dealing with these people everyday and being nice to them because they are so small minded and petty that they cannot see beyond their own narrow world view to realize they are bringing their whole community down. We are working people too and their disgusting behavior makes everyone's day just that much worse. How would you like to start your work or school day with a ride that sets a horrible tone for the rest of the day? I didn't think so. Take care of each other should be number one in everyone's mind. Figure it out Maui County. I'm sick of your lack of care for the community.
