The staff was so kind and helpful....And knew a lot about the good food and fun spots on the island. They kept the place clean and having the full kitchen was great! All in all a really wonderful experience and would definitely come back.
NASTY NASTY NASTYYYYY...me my husband and my three year old daughter did a walk through to look at the hotel and everyhing looked okay. We knew it wasn't top notch because of how the outside looked but as long as it was clean in the inside we did not care. We left and looked around to compare prices, got some food, came back and paid for a room. We got all of our things out of the car and went to the room. We started eating and within three minutes there were a assortment of insects crawling towards us, that went from small to large real quick. There was ants and roaches and I am not sure what the other bug was crawling and I had my husband smashing them for about two minutes but once they got bigger and more and more came from under the white board molding at the bottom of the wall. Once it became a hazard I immediately got my things and we left. I put my things back in the car and immediately went the office. They were apologizing (A lady and Kevin). They know I am pregnant and have a three year old which that room was not safe for. Kevin told me that he only had two more options and he took me to two rooms that were on the other side of the building that had full size beds. How are we supposed to downsize to that with a pregnant belly a three year old and my husband isn't small????? Plus he stated that they would be the same price and with the chance of being invaded again. So I told him it wasn't going to work. They were nice up until I asked for my money back. I made him write a statement and left. For three days he kept saying he needs to speak to the owner and That she was flying so he couldn't give me an answer. And yesterday I called and he kept avoiding the phone, letting the lady answer and say that he wasn't in and she can't help me. After the back and forth he finally called me back and told me no refund at all would be granted. I asked him for the owners number or email and he told me he couldn't give me anything. I told him karma is a B**** and how he acted so sorry and now he doesn't even care. Neverrrr neverrr go here. BAD BAD PLACE.
Wonderful place. If you're traveling to Maui chances are you won't be cooped up in a place to long, so why pay a lot for it? If you're able to sacrifice some luxury living for a few days you'll be able to save a lot more money by going here. The staff was very friendly and helpful and worked with me on payment issues. It's not a 5 star resort but it's well worth the price.
